Atte went better in the second qualifying session, and claimed fifth on the grid for the second race. Carlin Motorsport's Brendon Hartley took pole, his team mate Oliver Turvey second and Fortec Motorsport's Marcus Ericsson third. The weather for Sunday's races was cloudy but dry. The morning's race was won by Brendon Hartley/Carlin, with Fortec's Marcus Ericsson second and Carlin's Oliver Turvey third. Atte battled his way up for a fine finish in sixth place. The evening's race ended for Atte due to a clumsy crash caused by Fortec Motorsport's Sebastian Hohenthal. The race was won by Brendon Hartley, with Oliver Turvey second and Jaime Alguersuari third. "I'm not happy about this weekend, and I'm very upset about that Hohenthal crash. That's the second time this season that that short sighted Swede has wrecked my race and robbed me of valuable points," said Atte tersely after the race. |
